Was at a farm auction yesterday interested in an 880 that was for sale that I didn't get. Somebody else was willing to pay a little bit more for it than I was, and I went home without it. I did manage to bring home a Ford instead, if you want to read about it in the Ford section.....
ANYWAY, an Oliver product that I did manage to purchase yesterday and bring home today was an Oliver 7-foot sickle mower. Nobody seemed to know the model of it and I'd consider it almost a basket case, but the auctioneer couldn't really get too much for it, so it decided raise my bidding number. It will take a little work to get it working, but the price was right. Google images really didn't come up with much and I can't post a picture of it yet.
It has two wheels, and appears to be absent of a hydraulic cylinder and you bolt it to the drawbar bracket. Anybody have a clue as to what model number I purchased?

Maybe a 22A

22A or 22B. The most obvious difference was the brackets for the castor wheels. The 22A had a single cast arm on one side of the wheel, the B had a steel bar on each side of the wheel.
