Oliver 77 oil pressure

Having issues with my 77 gasser, anytime below freezing when started it has no oil pressure. Ive changed the oil, filter, making sure no water is in it, checked with a different gauge and even removed the gauge connection and no pressure is indicated. Tow it into the shop overnight and perfect oil pressure the next day. What am i missing?
B342181 C77D is the serial number i believe,should make it a 51?

start at the block : either install a guage there or just just start it and stop it, oil should be flowing. remove and blow out the oil line with air.

Running 10w30 dino oil
Have no oil pressure/flow when i remove the oil pressure gauge line from the block
Is there a oil filter backflow valve?
Think the next step is to drop the oil pan and look at the pickup and the pump itself.

Tried to start it today. It was -4c, or 24F today.
No oil pressure/ flow. Whats the proper oil filter? Perhaps i have the wrong one installed. I just went from the number on the filter that was in place when i bought it.

I know it's not an answer, but mine does the same thing. I use it 7 days a week to feed silage. I changed the oil in January thinking that'd fix it,but the next big cold snap,it did it again.

Is there something found frequently with aluminum oil filter base on 77 tractor? I have 77 that does not show pressure right away but comes up within minute.
