I have an 88 with a 77 motor in it. I have been looking for a 88 motor for quite while, finally found one. Young fellow I bought it from wasn't sure if it came from an 88 or a 880(long story). Numbers on the block below the manifold is 190320 K100C . It needs an intake manifold, exhaust manifold has 190342A stamped on it, didn't see any numbers on the intake. I looked on a couple parts websites and they show 2 different number intake manifolds. Trying to figure out which one I need. Thanks, Chris

Hello Chris: K-100C is an 88 block. Look by the distributor and see if there is a flat spot with a little plate held on by 4 little machine screws. If the block has that it was made after the spring of 1950. There are 2 different intake manifolds. A regular 88 and a Super 88 use different intake manifolds. Do they cross over to Oliver part numbers on those web sites?

Hi, John, I just looked on this site. 88 and super88 intake B IK425. Other one is for 88, super, 880w/ 2 3/8 carb bolt spacing replaces 1K243 &1K425. Guess I need to measure carb bolt spacing. Chris

Do you have a carburetor and a tag on the carburetor with a TSX number? The 88 takes a B 396 gasket to bolt the carburetor up. The super 88 takes a C 396. I don't have either one laying around right now.

I will see if I can find any numbers on the carb tomorrow. I measured the bolts on the carb and looks like 2 1/2" to me.
