My dad and I were on an old friends property today and we found this plow tip. My dad said he thinks it's a horse-drawn plow it says Oliver on it and PB with either a 6 or an 8 can somebody tell me what this is or if it's worth anything at all my dad and I just gave $50 for it

I would tend to agree because of the double side of the thing I regular plow is just going to have one side that turns over the dirt.

They have different names in different parts of the country. Some would call it a lister. In the south it might just be called a "plow" as opposed to a "turning plow" which would be a regular moldboard plow. It's used for "hilling" or "laying by".
