Transmission oil for the 1650-1655 Oliver

What weight and type of oil is used in the transmission of the Oliver-White 1650-1655 tractor????

80-90w gear lube. On my 1650 I'd pop out a cover, very near the gear shift lever, beneath that is a cap to remove on the transmission this is where I add the gear lube.

Thanks Kevin I found that cover and cap right where you stated. My tractor is the White 4-80-17 backhoe --same as the OLIVER 1650 OR 1655 in the Industrial model. Where is the plug to see when it is full????

A 1/4 or 3/8 pipe plug on the right side of the main case rear of the axle housing.
