That's interesting. In what part of the world did you find this thing?

The photo posted sure looks like a 30 forklift without a mast. You can see the tilt cylinder anchors, front axle blocks and hydraulic reservoir on the left frame rail. If it's a forklift tractor, it should also have power steering and a foot throttle. Good find. Someone needs to bring it home! Craig

The owner mentioned 1957 but I dont have the #s off the tractor yet... and I dont know how he determined that. Are you sayng they were 'Only' made in '54-'55 ?

Im hearing possibly as low as 14 or 16 built, most of which went to the military.

It is/was a forklift model but the forklift has been removed, 1957, looks a bit rough, not currently advertised, owner is not in a hurry, but its 12 hrs away so it will take some planning to arrange to look at it. I have one pic so I'll try putting it up.

Hi Lance,

INDUSTRIAL COCKSHUTT 30...........NOT MUCH DIFFERENT. In 1954 and 1955, COCKSHUTT FARM EQUIPMENT, Brantford, ON CANADA built a few '30' forklift tractors, some air comoressor tractors, and some 30 "low" profile for highway mowing tractors for CA gov.highway mowing. Some had 26 inch rear tires, some had foot throttle.

Can you post a photo or two??
