Need help, another 105 hydraulic problem

Hello, I need a little help, I believe my cooling pump is leaking hydraulic oil into the rear end. Does anyone have a picture of what I'm looking for. Main pump has been replaced and it doesn't matter if I use the pto it just slowly leaks over time and I think it the cooling pump but at zero degrees out I would like to know what I'm looking for before I pull the pump. Thanks all

It leaks even when the tractor is off. I did not block off the lines, ran it on the auger and it didnt change how much oil I was loosing. I opened the fill plug on the rear end and set a bucket under it. A very slow stream of amount of oil drips constantly when its off.thanks

The pto can leak when not in use. The cooler pump leak would be seal on the pump drive shaft. You have to remove hyd. pump, then four bolts hold cooler pump and drive shaft housing. You could look at agcopartsbooks.com for a picture. Be a tough job with cold hands at zero degrees. Good luck AL

I haven't had anything to do with the hydraulic oil coolant circulating pump on my 2-105 but have rebuilt the PTO.

If you check out my previous posts under minniman you can find the info I gave on the process of rebuilding the PTO assembly. It was leaking due to the fact that the brake lining on the PTO clutch had worn away so necessitated a complete overhaul. Not a task you would want to have to do without a heated shop.

As for the recirculating pump it is located behind the hydraulic pump and would be an easier repair but still not an outside job in the winter.

Wish you the best of good luck. If it happened to be the PTO I'm happy to pass along any helpful tips I learned along the way.
