White 3 pt lift?

We have a White 2-88 that I use to move snow with a Gnuse snow bucket. I wish the 3 point had a higher lift height as it would be easier to pile snow. Also the bucket tilts backwards as it raises instead of tilting forward. The top link bracket has 3 other mounting positions, but I sure can't see how moving it to a different spot would change much. Has anyone here ever installed longer arms from another tractor on a White or is it even possible? I could just put the bucket on my 4630 but I like using the 2-88 for snow removal. Any thoughts?

Depends on the mounting pattern on the bucket, but generally speaking higher holes on the 3pt toplink will tip back toward the tractor less, and lower holes more. You might try to find a hydraulic toplink or a cylinder that will fit. As for height, there should be some adjustment, but probably not as much as you're looking for.

Thanks for your thoughts on the subject. The top link is mounted in the second hole from the bottom right now. Maybe I will try it at the bottom location and see if that adjusts the tilt.

Sounds like your top link is too long to begin with this tractors did nothing but there point work around here. No that problem never occurred
