I am trying to get the front bearing support off so I can replace the front seal. The shaft and support will come out about an inch but I can't get the input shaft to stay behind. It is solidly attached to the front support. Not sure if I have an early or later unit but I did the same thing a year ago without any problems. My I&T lists two different procedures but isn't real clear on either. I wish I had never tried to replace the seal but we are putting in a clutch and wanted to replace the seal as preventative maintenance. The tractor number is 193759 if that helps. Where is the serial number on the h-p unit?
