which is better 1650 o 1655

I have the option to buy 1650 or 1655. Both are about the same price at abot $4500 and the same condition. The 1650 might have better tin with better paint, but nothing more. The 1650 has the 15.5x38 where as the 1655 has 18.4x34 rears tires. So which is a better made tractor?
 
Gas or Diesel? Early 1650 diesels had the Lanova injection system whereas the very late had direct injection along with the 1655. Early 1650 had the 2 speed Hydra-Power whereas the last year 1650 and the 1655's had the 3 speed over/ under Hydraul shift. The 1655 for sure would have the improvements made only on the very late 1650's.
 
Not really much difference between the 2. Just pick the one that's in better shape, better tires, etc.

1655 should have one more PTO disc. Are they both three speeds?
A later 1655 will have a 10 SI alternator(internal regulator).
 
I have and use both of them. I would say about a horse a peice. I like both as they are both pretty much trouble free if you take care of
them. I will say that the three speed is a plus.
 
I have a question on this topic. I have a 1650 and two 1750's and had a 1755 I know the 1755 had external hydraulic pump which had more hydraulics vs 1750 . Did they make the same change on the 1655 with external hydraulic pump or was it the same as the 1650 ?
