My Oliver 550 is leaking fuel out the throat of the carb only when shut off, not while running. According to the I&T manual the MS carb could be either a TSX603 or a TSX775. There is no tag or id number that I can find to make the proper id. Is there a way to determine which model I have as the manual shows completely different numbers for the valve and seat of each model?

You have a serial number? The 603 was used on the 3-1/2 inch bore engine and is a smaller carburetor. The TSX 775 was used on the 3-5/8 inch bore engines. You can also have a TSX 811. carb. Is your fuel inlet on the side or on the back?

The fuel inlet is on the back of the carb.
