Early vs late

(quoted from post at 19:49:10 10/31/17) What was the s/n or year that determines of a 77RC was early or late? Thanx!
Not sure of the year or number but early ones had the tag by the right brake and late had it on the left dash.

Susandiane, I have 2 RC 77's that were built in 1951. The first 77 pic is serial plate on the lower left dash assembly and second 77 is on the right transmission housing. There are 2 more RC 77's on Craigslist not to far from me cheap but my wife would probably have a melt down if they showed up here!

Pete, Richmondville, I put Oliver in the search box on Albany Farm and Garden Craigslist. One is complete and the other is just parts. Both are Row Crops and I can't tell 100% from the picture but the complete 77 may have disc brakes. Marty Peeters is thinking about selling his RC 77 wide front not pretty but everything works. Looking at the pics I think I 88 is behind them so thinking they are on RT. 7.

Look in the left hand column of this page and scroll down to: Research & Info / Serial Numbers / Oliver Wheel Tractors / and click on your model tractor.

A friend of mine used to have a small salvage yard and a man came in and wanted a part for a 66. He had a book that said early and late. That book distinguished an early 66 as a Fleetline 66 and a late 66 as a Super 66!
