White 2-70 throttle friction?

I've had to put the 2-70 on the TMR for the last week, and the RPM drops pretty fast unless I wedge cardboard or something in-between the throttle and 3 spd lever.
I couldn't find any kind of friction adjustment anywhere and the manual doesn't help. Is there such a thing?

If it is like my 2-85, there is an adjustment for it. I think you have to take the side panel off to get at it behind the dash. I found it and did that
after I bought it, but that was like 20 years ago.

Should be the same setup as a 1655. Take the cover off above the dash and there's a nut down on the inside.
