Im sorry if this is a repeat but i have an excellent running 70 that at an idle will fog the mosquitos for a quarter mile. Could it be the valve guide seals or does it needs a set of rings? If it could be valve guide seals which should i get?

When I was with Dana Perfect Circle had many styles of valve seals. My e-mail should be open send me a reply and we can discuss it. It probably has been 50 years since I have had a 70 running with the valve cover off! J.

I havent had the valve cover off yet but with the amount of oil used not to mention its just plain embarrasing to take a tractor somewhere thats smokes so badly at an idle. Do i need to pull the hood & valve cover to investigate further?

Get it on the patch. Seems like I was told they didn't have seals. May need guides
