1600 Diesel Production Numbers

(quoted from post at 05:45:31 09/17/17) I just bought a 1600 diesel high crop. Does anyone know the number produced?
I don't but if you search 1600 Oliver tractor data you will find some info I think..

Thanks. I have been searching but haven't found anything. I also looked in the March/April HART-PARR Oliver Collector magazine that features the 1600 and they don't give them. Often when they do a feature tractor, they give production numbers. I would think someone would have an idea of the numbers.

Sorry. I read over the high crop part before. Have you tried Floyd's county museum? Is that the one that sold in auction in CALIFORNIA?

Yes, it is the one from California. I thought of the museum and will have to try that. The information must not be readily available. I have found sale results for a few but many are not in very good condition or are not complete. I wonder if it is a little more common high crop than some of the others. I plan to play with it for awhile and probably sell it eventually like most of the tractors I buy. I think I am in to it for a decent price but I have to add buyers premium and hauling to Minnesota. I had a couple high clears before, a restored 560D and a restored Case 830 comfort King. They are kind of fun to have around.

Looked like a nice tractor and fair price. There are some pretty knowledgeable people on Oliver and White tractor Facebook page as far as production numbers and what they came equipped with. Of course there is a lot of knowledge here too.

I created a Facebook account but have never figured out how to use it. My wife uses hers all the time. I guess it's time to get educated.
