Removing Super 99 Rear Axle

How major a job is it to remove the rear axle on a Super 99...i searched but didn't have much luck on how to do it...thanks for any replies.

The hardest part will be getting the hub off the axle unless the have a 100 ton rampac. You have to remove the trans rear housing cover to get a large retaining ring off that holds the bull gear on. remove the cap at the end of the axle and pull it out. It is quite a job because everything is very heavy. If you have any questions feel free to call me at 815 823 6949. Larry

Thanks for the reply....part of the reason for pulling the axle is I have had no luck getting hub off and the threads on my axle are very worn so while out I hope to get it rethreaded.
