Oliver 1800a LP

I was wounding how rare a Oliver 1800a LP was. My Grandpa has a 1800a that was converted from LP to Diesel right before he got it. So I was just wondering how rare the LP models were.

Seems like the only make that had a LOT of LP models back in the day was Minneapolis Moline. I've been around Olivers for a long time, and can't remember if I've ever seen an LP version in person.

I have seen a couple 1800a LP models up here in ND. We have 1 "B" model & 1 "C" model in LP. I own 7 Oliver LP's myself & generally pay attention to any I see. I would say from what I have seen the 1800 in
general is the most common LP tractor Oliver built. I know of 3 1800LP's right now in our area beside the ones we have. I dont have any production numbers to say that they are the most common but they are up
here in northern ND. That being said, I still think the production numbers are relatively low. In comparison, there were over 30 "B" models built as a gas with MFWD, only 4 were built as a LP with MFWD.
