Delco distributor 1111702 OH9

Putting points/condenser for this dist in 1950 77. What should the OHMs be for a good condenser? What's best place to get reliable points/condenser these days? Does this dist have any centrifugal advance?
Where the block casting flares out for the dist shaft, there's a plug. Should any lube go in there, or anywhere else? What should the points be set at? Sorry for all ?'s, but I have an excess of ignorance! Thank you!!!

Your first question on the condenser (capacitor) it shouldn't read any ohms. However, with the capacitor discharged an ohm meter will sometimes briefly give a reading and return to no circuit. What you need is a capacitance meter and some volt ohm meters have capacitance setting now. They usually check around .2 microfarads.

It has centrifugal advance and you should be able to turn the rotor in the direction of rotation and it should try to return if it is working.

Right now I can't think of any plug in the block where you say. But it seems like you talking about an area common with the crankcase.
