1850 weight

What do you think an 1850 with a Perkins diesel, 18.4x38 rear tires on pressed steel, narrow front end, regular fenders, and a 2 or 3 speed weighs?

A buddy of mine took one of our 1750's to our county fair last month pulls, and it weighed 9,500 it has 18.4*34 with cast center and utility front axle.

It has a 283 diesel the best I can tell, and I would think motor weight between that and the perkins wouldn't be much. So I just guessing less cast centers and difference in front axle would be around 1,000 lbs. just guessing

Larry, I have a friend that pulls his at 8,500#-10,500# although he has a 5.9 cummins and a 2255 wide front on it. If you want I can ask him what it weighed before the engine swap.

Our 1850 is the way you describe except for a light weight seat and 88 fenders on it. We can put on about 300lbs of weight on it for 8500 with a 175lbs driver.

Thanks for all the responses. Thinking of selling my 990 and my pristine 4441 six bottom pull plow. Everybody seems to be buying 4020's to pull at all of our antique tractor pulls. If I sell them I am thinking of getting an 1850 with a Perkins in it to give them a little competition.
