Super 77 Rotor not lasting

Why would the Rotor on my Super 77 need to be replaced three times in a row after only about an hour usage each time?

Wrong cap/rotor combination?? Or you buy them from TSC. Or the distributor bushings are going bad. I had the rotor on my Oliver 77 do that twice and the last time I replaced it I made sure I got the best one I could find and that has been over 10 years ago now

The tractor doesn't start until the rotor is replaced other than that, there is nothing visual on the rotor that looks damaged.

These came from a local CARQUEST or Napa. Where do you get the good ones from?

I buy the ones i get at my local O'Reilly's auto parts store. Where I live I have them or the wannabe be auto zone. They have he B&W brand parts
