I've found a good set of 13.6 tires on 38 double bevel rims that I would like to put on my RC 88. How hard of a job is it to get the "inside" bevel past the cast center in order to mount rim using the "outside" bevel? One person with some nudging with a sledge hammer, or a group of circus strongmen? I don't want to damage either rim or tire trying, but I think I'd like to have approximately the same tread width as I do now.
If it's too difficult, I'll just use the inside bevel for mounting and then have to move the hub on the axle to get back to current width. But thought I'd ask the group first. Thanks.
