2-155 white p.t.o.. slipping

Bought a 2-155 a couple of years ago. All it really has done is pull a 20' bushog . The pto has always worked fine & handled max torque
with no slippage (to the best of my knowledge). Had to install a new stump jumper on R.H. wing & took out for an ops check in fairly heavy
fescue, engaged & advanced throttle, let out clutch & all was well for about 50' then realized mower had lost a lot of rpm's (but tractor
engine did not). Shut down, restarted same results! Then I tried swiftly engaging at approx 1000 engine rpm's to see if the snap would
cause slippage, it was "crisp' & sharply brought mower to speed. The mower is free, with engine off I can turn by hand. Pressure gauge on
clutch pack line is showing approx. 560 P.S.I. with lever in on position. What say you? Thanks in advance!

maybe a dumb question but are you low on hydruaulic fluid ?
had a 1755 and 2-105 and when low on fluid under load it would physically trip the pto lever out.

Had a 100 on a blower once that plugged but engine didn't pull down. Turned out to be a broken snapring inside the pto.

I think you need to pull the PTO and rebuild it. Pretty simple job and easy to get out. Just need to drain out 35 gallon of hydraulic oil though.
