I am looking for some one who may still have engine and bearing parts books for Perkins. The manuals would need to cover engine from around 1950 to 1964. I am looking for some specific numbers and would appreciate any help. thanks Irv

Great as these were UK built engines. The engines are the very early short lived L-4 and the replacement 4-270. I believe they were used in combines and power units in Europe. They were used in the Canadian built Cockshutt tractors. The numbers I am looking for are any engine and bearing part numbers Perkins or other makers. Mainly the engine bearings and the pistons and rings. thanks Irv

I will look into it but it may take a few weeks as there is a Perkins remanufacturer in shrewsbury I am thinking you need part numbers for a particular engine and do you have serial number from engine
