hi all, new owner of a Oliver Cockshutt 1850 with a Perkins diesel. my question for all of you is fairly simple I hope. I'm hooking up a Massey 828 round baler, I've hooked the baler gate controls to the tractor remotes, but id like to hook the belt tension hose to return to the reservoir. is there a plug I can remove to go straight into the reservoir?

Thanks

They are single acting

No it does not

If you have a depth stop unit, they used different valves to control single acting cylinders. W ill reply in about a week when I get back, but remind me to do so. J.

This tractor does not have a three point hitch.

I'm not familiar with that baler or any round baler for that
matter. Does it use tractor pressure to maintain pressure on
the bale? So the tractor keeps a constant flow of oil to the
baler, and a baler mounted valve adjusts the bale pressure? I
think that's what you are describing. If it is I don't think the
other responses are correct. You are looking for a case drain
return, but I think you could just return it through a remote. It
is probably a low volume of oil. You also need to make sure
the baler is set for open center hydraulics.

You are correct, there is a pressure relief valve
on baler and I can set the pressure to correspond with the density of the bale. I would like to find a place on the tractor I could
tie in straight to sump/reservoir. I only have one set of hyd remotes which I need to run the gate.
Thanks for all the help.
