I have a 1550 that was steering well and then developed a leak from a rubbed pin hole on the line from the priority valve to the saginaw steering motor. We had a new line made and replaced the old one. Then we filled the hydraulic unit. Now tractor does not steer to the left. Lots of vibration in the lines going to the oil cooler and front wheels do not go as far left as they should. Now neighbor tells us that the outfit that made the new line is known for not cleaning out the new lines. Of course we did not know that and did not check line before installing it. Now we suspect that a piece of hydraulic hose or a steel cutting has gone into the saginaw steering motor. Hydraulic pressure is good, tractor steers normally to the right. Are there seals, gaskets. O-rings available for the old Saginaw motors? Not sure what we are getting into. Any ideas or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
