How many of them showed up for the first gathering at the National Show? Anybody got any pictures?

Oliver Hart Parr magazine reported on Facebook that there were 13 there on June 23 and they had a video of them but I don't know how to link it to people that aren't on Facebook........here is a picture of a map they put up of where the 500's (green dot) and 600's (red dot)that they know of are located.

Interesting map. The 500 was new to Oliver when I started working for a dealer in the summer of 1960. It was said at a meeting they were expected to sell well in the Richman VA branch area. Not many red or green pins in that area. I was told they also had rain at the show on 2 of the days.

Neat! I think one of those pins in Michigan is me. I'm on the registry. I wonder who the other 5 are?

I only knew of 1 new one sold around here. A neighbor two farms north of me bought it. A diesel. He traded a 9N Ford in on it. I'll bet that tractor didn't have 500 hours on it when it got traded in on a new Ford 5000. I asked the dealer quite a few years ago if he remembered where it went. He didn't know. I sure wish I had it,in the shape it was in when it got traded.

Here is some pics if they come thru. Rained like cats and dogs on Friday after 1:30 PM, There were 13 - 500's but I saw no 600's. From what I understand 500's are pretty rare Olivers, going by that map. Someone started one up in the back of last pic, she lit right up ,had a good bit of blue smoke out the exhaust. Some diesel 500's there.

Thanks a lot for the pictures. The majority of them made were diesels. Gassers were all early ones.
Looks like Jim Irwin was there. The one with the green seat looks like his. Try as I might, mine will never look that good,no matter what my intentions are.

One of the 600 pins in VA is mine I guess and I've known of about a half dozen or so 500's in VA and WVA been a couple on CL in Southside VA in the last 6 months. What used to be the dealer in Harrisonburg VA
told me they sold several of the DB Olivers. There was a 500 at a sale in the Northern Neck a couple years ago probably came from Watts.Producers Coop in Richmond was the Oliver dealer in Richmond I know a fellow that was a mechanic there for years I'll ask him about them.

Looks like I have to register mine (no pin in Minnesota). Could of swore I did, must of thought about it enough that I thought I did.
