1650 Clutch

I have a 1965 model year 1650 Gas, and the clutch is dragging, even with the linkage adjusted as far as I can get it. I'm guessing one of the fingers is broken on the pressure plate. That being said, can this clutch be updated to the clutch the later 1650's used?

If it's any help at all,here's what the parts site says. Looks like the second one fits the full range of serial numbers if I'm reading it right. That "Alternate 160971-AS" is the one that covers them all.
