came across a 1555 gas for sale that has no 3 pt ,my question did they build a 1555 as a loader special? can a 3 pt be added to it . I haven't saw the tractor in person yet just saw pictures of it looks real good except rear tires look like junk so what would it be worth? he said only thing is it won't shift into 6th gear comes with a decent looking loader has a 1 cyl hyd bucket

Well one time we received 2 new 1550 tractors. By some mistake in the order they did not have 3 point hitches. They had the regular Oliver hydraulic units except there was no 3 point. It was added no problem.

That Tractor has External valve depth stop, therefore a 3 point cannot be added unless you change the whole hydraulic system. And those transmission parts are hard to find since the 15XX series uses its own unique transmission.
