Looking at putting a Perkins into a 570. Has anyone have any experience doing that? Seems to me that the back engine mount and flywheel from a 560 or a 570 Cockshutt would have to be adapted to the Perkins, Probably the biggest challenge being adapting the Flywheel. Any thoughts?

You better look at the 580. That is what that 580 is. There is also one over by Van Wert that has a Perkins in a 560 or 570. There used to be a 50 down the road that had a 354 Perkins in it

I have done 3 of them they are a great thing to have
around the farm and pull with you can email me and
we can go from there

I've seen it numerous times and am 99% sure you're correct.I know one of the owners I'll call him if I get a chance and ask for sure.Basically a 570 with a 354 Perkins,no need to beef up that
rear it'll handle far more HP than the 354 will put out.I used to pull a 570 with a newer 339 Hercules that was pushing 140 HP with no problems.
