Three point update on issue

Update, I tried to adjust the pto clutch but nothing I did, did anything. I guess it's looking like a spit is in my future. So I
need to get to using the tractor so I remounted that remote back on same as before. Ran the tractor but still the three point
isn't working. I spent a fair bit of time on it today with nothing to show for it. Can't figure out what my issue is or what I
did to cause the problem. I though mounting the remote back on would solve the issue but it did not.

I have another question on the hydraulic. The fill is the cap with the dip stick right? How much goes in this? Grade? The other
cap is the transmission is it not? How much there and what grade? I see nothing on the cap with the stick and peering in the
hole I can see the bottom. I need oil but can't figure out where it all went. I didn't leak out that kind of fluid out the
remote holes I know that. I leaked maybe a teaspoon full. Nothing around the tractor either. I also see nothing in the other cap
either. There is a metal piece right under that cap. I hope there isn't an issue with running out and damaging the three point
pump. What do I check now? I'm stumped.

what model are you working on? im assuming a 4 digit tractor , the hyd. oil is what oliver called type 55 , just about all hyd. oil today meets that spec , yes the dip stick on the back end should be the one for hyds. , as far as oil vanishing , is the rear end oil level rising?

O. K. Ed send me that e-mail. By the PTO shaft at the back of the tractor to the right of the shaft is a small pipe plug. That is where you check the oil level for the transmission. The oil level should be up to that plug. 80W-90 gear oil is what is used in the transmission. I have an idea that is where your hydraulic fluid went. Hydraulic fluid for you if the extended oil level kit has not been added would be about 5 quart. In today's world a good tractor hydraulic fluid would be fine. Have you taken the little plate off the bottom of the center section off (4 one quarter inch cap screws) and looked in there. If you adjusted the PTO you would have done this. Send me that e-mail. J.

The email link was sent last time is still the same J. As to the tractor, I added fluid to get it to the marks on the stick to see it vanish right away when the tractor was turned on. I can only believe it is going into the rear as nothing is leaking out of the tractor. I'll check that plug and see if it's over full. If it then what? I'll be draining the fluids to get this figured out. I t looks like the split is clearly going to happen.

This issue is with a super 55 for those asking.

Sent you an email. I did open up the plate under the tractor but did that before I was dealing with the pump. If you were to ask me there is a leak in there some where as the cover was coated well with oil or grease not sure. It looked like a mouse had started a home in there as well. I cleaned up what I could get to but in the pictures online I see this area is bone dry mine is not.
