COckshutt 35 hard to restart once up to temp

I'm new to antique tractors and haven't done much mechanic work in the past so I'm looking for advice. I bought a Cockshutt 35 a few months back. It has the original Hercules 198 and is still 6v. When cold it will crank quickly and runs great, until I turn it off. Its very difficult to get it to crank again until its had time to cool. The starter seems to turn it over fine it just won't fire.

I'm looking for suggestions of where to start with troubleshooting this problem.

Could be the coil. A good tune-up might be in order. Check wiring. Fuel delivery. Make sure vent on fuel cap is open. It's all a process of elimination. My 30 and 35 both have a 12V systems and electronic ignition. Clean fuel tanks and good Carbs. They start hot or cold summer or winter.
