Always wondered what the biggest made was - looks like it was the OC-18. Any still in use, or at least still in one piece? Wow, 895 cube six-cylinder Hercules diesel, 32,000 lbs. Between a Cat D-7 and D-8 in size.

Here she is

I had a OC15 wish I still had it. I have never seen an OC18 in person only pictures. The 15 had a 529 cubic inch diesel with air and mechanical brakes. On mine only one side worked well so you planned all forward and reverse moves. I hope its still in one piece and if anyone has seen it get a pic.

There was a nice one with a blade just sold on an auction over in central ILL last fall. There was a really straight original one in central Michigan that sold a few years ago all dressed up in logging gear. A 18 is on my someday list.

for whatever reason i cant get pics, to upload on here but i did get them to upload in the gallery section under tractor photos if you care to look.

Not really all that big how much do they weigh? Back in the early 70's when I64 was being built on across the Blue Ridge Mts in Virginia they had an Allis Chalmers HD41 on the job that was an impressive machine think in those days it took 3 tractor trailer loads to move it,tracks, basic machine and blade on separate loads.

That I couldnt tell ya. I never saw the sale results. Wanted to go to see that crawler and an Euclid TC12 on the same sale sell but something was going on that I couldnt make it.
