I have to change a head gasket on a 198 Hercules engine in a Cockshutt 35.What manufacture of head gaskets are you using.I read somewhere that one of the manufactures head gaskets were failing but can't remember which one.

You will probably have to take what you can get. There are very few companies that still manufacture gaskets for the Hercules engines.I know Victor for one has dropped a lot of the older stuff. We try to use Fel-Pro when we can get them.

Give Lubbock Gasket a call they can supply you a head gasket for about any tractor,been awhile since I've gotten anything from them but the ones I got for my pulling tractors were
1st class gaskets.

Would you have any part numbers for the gasket sets.Its helps when you go to the parts place if you have the part numbers.

I will send you an e-mail. I would try Jerry Biro first as he or was North America's largest dealer for obsolete Hercules parts. I may have one set yet too.
