88 lift pump

Could someone walk me through what I need to replace in the fuel lift pump on my 88 diesel to stop the fuel leaking into my oil pan? Thank you

A friend of mine from work has a AC WD45 diesel. I am pretty sure same pump as yours (Bosch?). Anyhow he had a local diesel shop replace the seals in it. I think they charged him $135. I know that was just for the lift pump and I THINK he pulled it for them to service. That's all I got.

Korves has rebuild kits for the lift pumps. They are a simple rebuild. We have done two, S77 and 88. It is not hard. Call Korves. Good luck.

The Buda engines in the Cockshutt tractors used the gear drive lift pump which attaches to the injection pump itself. They did not use the diaphragm type A-C lift pump as used by Oliver. It sounds like the WD-45 was the same way.

(quoted from post at 22:41:10 05/28/17) Yes, his lift pump was bolted to the side of the injection pump.

Thanks guys I'll try and get it ordered this week so I can hopefully get it fixed soon
