1957 Super 77 engine help needed

My super 77 will not start. I just finished painting it and have it all back together. The motor will crank over well but will not start. Here is what I have tested;
-I have cleaned and checked the float on the carb multiple times, everything works good.
-I put new fuel in the tank, the tank is over half full with fuel
-I put in plugs, rotor, wires and points in the tractor
-I have good spark at all plugs, all plug wires are going to the proper cylinders
-My points open and close as they should
-I have traced all wires and have power at the proper locations
After I crank the motor over for a bit, I pull the plugs out and they do have some gas on them. I tried taking out a could of plugs and poured gas down them. It seemed like it wanted to fire but it didn't. My throttle and choke butterflies are both opening and closing properly. I do not currently have an inline fuel filter in place because I wanted to make sure that was not my issue and restricting fuel flow. Any suggestions or help would be great. Thanks

Did you change the firing order?

I hooked the plugs up just like the wiring diagram showed. Would you happen to have a diagram that would show how they should be hooked up?

You will need to find top dead center number 1 and see if it's right at the distributor. I have one that I think the drive was put in wrong. Previous owner could figure it out after the cows ate the wires.

I had two tractors in which the new cap had numbers transposed. Switched wires around 180 degrees and they both fired right up. I had a lot of time invested.

If tractor has set for a long time rings could be stuck allowing compression to slip by. Have you had the rocker arms off or valve train apart? Make sure valves are set at right clearances and timed right. Cam could be, or might have slipped out of time. Just something to think about probly something more simple than that.
