Cockshutt 50 diesel engine needed

What Allis Chalmers or Gleaner diesel engines either 230 cubic inch or larger will fit in a Cockshutt 50?

230, as you say, or the 262, either gas or diesel. The naturally aspirated D-262 was used in the D-17; the turbo D-262T was in the D19 and (rarely) the C2 Gleaner. The gasoline G-262 was used in the D19 Tractor and the C2 Combine.

I think the 230 gas was used in the A gleaner, and the older D230 diesel in the WD-45.

Thank you. Going to keep it diesel, however size does not matter at this point. Wife may disagree!!!!!!!!!!! As she is starting to be interested in tractors. Ya right..
