66 diesel worth?

My neighbor just decided he is going to his 66. It is fully restored with automotive paint and clear coat(shines nice) runs good. My question is how much is it worth? I'm thinking of buying it, play with it for the summer and sell it. I know how much he wants, just want to make sure what he wants is a good price.

In my experience,about $1500 more than you can get for it when you're done playing with it.

What is he asking for it,the couple I've seen sold have bought pretty good money been awhile since I've seen one.

Wide front or narrow? 3 point?

It's a narrow front and I think it has a three point, front quite remember. He wants 1800.

Well worth that those 66 diesels are few and far between just make sure its a factory diesel not added later.

At that price for a diesel,ya,I'd grab it. I wouldn't take that for my gasser and I only call that one an armature repaint,not a restoration.
