241/251 Disc Axle Question

I've got a 241 disc that could use new front blades. What's on there now are notched, and I would like to keep notched on the front. Problem is that I can't find any notched discs for 1-1/8 round axles.

If I'm going to be replacing bearings anyway, can I swap out the round axles for 1-1/8 square axles and bearings for a 251 disc, which will give me notched disc options? Thanks.

You can put a 1-1/8" round axle IN a 1-1/8" square hole, just use your existing axles unless they need replacing.
