IS THERE SOMEONE IN TRACTOR LAND THAT HAS a source for power steering cyclinder and steering tie rod ends for power steering cyclinder shaft also rear wheel were they painted green or clover white on power
adjust wheels also were the power adjust rims painted silver or argent or white

I have been told by several people that they purchased new steering cylinders from a Chevy dealer.   It is the same as used on the mid-year Corvette (1963 - 1967).

The 550 wheels were painted clover White.   The power adjust rim and rails came from the supplier already painted silver and the factory did not repaint them.

It appears that the cylinders are available from Rock Auto.

Wasn't it that vintage Chevy that also had the power steering pump on the back of the generator, ala Oliver?

the 550 oliver and a gm style power steering pump on earlier models we put one on my dads 1958 550 fits on back of generator but on later 550 it is driven a belt

Wow. Thanks for that. They look identical. What about a source for the little female tie rod ends?
