Another Floyd County Museum

Floyd County Museum, Charles City, IA. We have been sharing scans done at the Museum by our intern Adam Nielson. Since the first of the year Adam has driven here from Waverly, IA every Tuesday and Thursday between classes to volunteer with our scanning project. The museum has just received an Intern grant from Silos & Smokestacks so we will be able to continue having Adam work here as a paid intern. Thank you Silos and Smokestacks and Adam.

I remember Clayton Rasmussen ran one of those for a lot of years. It was quite a step up when her went to a 525 with a cab.

Something about that platform doesn't look right. Did it have an auger conveyor. With the reel and standing crop it's hard to see. Would this machine be the basis for their first self-propelled?
