2150 restoration progress

Checked the new panels I made for my 2150. Also marked and drilled all the mounting holes. There were corners missing on my old panel and the old panels holes are worn so bad it is hard to tell where the holes should be. The old panels were made of to light of steel to begin with. It is quite a time consuming job when you are not a professional sheet metal man. You learn from your mistakes. Overall I am pretty happy with the out come. Here's some pictures.

Looks awesome. I'd say it'll hold the horsepower in but let the bada$$
out. Doesn't get better than a well done 2150 mfwd in my opinion.

It's PPG Omni Acrylic enamel. All castings epoxy primer and the sheet metal sandable primer. It
looks like I am going to end up somewhere around $1700 in paint, primers, wet look hardener and
enamel reducer. You loose a lot of paint when you paint all the pieces individually, but I am happy
with the out come so far. PS, my buddy that has been a paint and body man for 50 years is doing all
the paint work. I just get everything stripped and clean for him.
