2150 Engines

Not sure, but could very well be. Military used the engine speed injection pump PSB, while Oliver used the PSJ, and later used the Model 100. Later military blocks had TD in raised letters on the right front side meaning block had thick deck. Military cranks have thicker webs than the 2-135 and 2-155 engines used, neighbor's 2-155 has the heavier crank in now after the original broke..

Had one stripped down to a long block and put it in a 2-155. Had to drill and tap a few holes for the water pump. There were a few Small differences in the castings probably related to the age difference between the 2 engines. You really had to look close. This was a lds 465 1a from a m35a2. The military had a few versions of the engine. My 2150 has a hafco reman in it so m not sure how close it matches original to a 2150.

Only differences we found on mine when we did it was as Adam mentioned, the 2 holes you have to drill and tap for the water pump. Other than that, the drab green was the only visible tell. Looking good Larry, keep at it!
