I am (hopefully) attaching a scan of my 1850 build card and a scan of the info sheet sent by Floyd County. If you look under "Q" you can see it says 434. Now if you look at the info sheet it says "Sparky's 1850 Hi Crop". I have an over/under. Any idea what got messed up?

This was the code number on my hicrop1850. At that time they did not know what the code number meant so Mary Ann just put on Sparky's hicrop.

Several of us in the HPOCA have been doing extensive research on the Build Cards and will do a seminar at next Winter's HPOCA Meeting, so hang on.   The plate on he lower part of your dash should have 485-22013 on the top line and the serial number followed by 557.  Following are the code numbers on your card and what they mean:

A 404 For diesel, adjustable regular tread front made for Oliver (Different # for Canadian & International sales)
B 008 diesel engine
C 557 Regular speed drive train (the last version, has pinion tie downs)
D 00 Not used (belt pulley)
E 427 Single speed 540 PTO
F 430 Hydra-Electric internal valve, draft control, power steering
G 047 18.4 x 34" 6 ply R1 tires
H 39 Cast Iron wheel for 34" rim (either demountable or power adjust)
I 86 Rim for 16.9 or 18.4 x 34" tire
J 00 None installed - Rear wheel weights K 053 11.00L x 15 8 ply F2 3 rib
L 70 Pressed steel wheel for 11.00L x 15" tire
M 00 None installed, Front Wheel rim (only used W/cast iron wheel, yours has Pressed steel)
N 00 None installed, front wheel weights
O 057 Light package for crown fender mounted lights
P 062 Fast coupling hitch with regular drawbar
Q 434 Clutch & Over/Under Hydraul for diesel engine
R 72 Standard tread Carrier & Axle for 72" - 92 1/2"
S 022 Crown type wheel guards, step & platform for Row Crop tractor
T 052 Upholstered seat
U 405 Power steering, adjustable regular tread, W/Hydraulics, diesel engine
V 000 None installed - Rear mounted equipment
W 201 For adjustable front, diesel W/O/U drive - Sheet metal, grill, dash, instruments & controls
X 000 None installed - front mounted equipment (loader or fork lift)
Y 000 None installed - Roll bar or cab
Z 10 Two dry charged batteries.

This should answer your question
