Hi! I'm Ross. I am new to the forum, not new to old tractors tho. Cockshutt's are my favorite, and my specialty. Current project is a 52 cockshutt 20. #381 with the f124. Was my grandfathers tractor. Looking forward from learning from y'all and gaining insight! I'm located in Sudbury Ontario Canada.

Love to talk cockshutt's.

HI Ross, my name is Ross as well, from Central MI. I'm a big Oliver fan, but dad's uncle had a bunch of Cockshutts, some of which he bought new. He had one of the nicest original COOP E3's I've ever seen, it had beautiful original paint and decals, not a spot of rust or fading. His son, dad's cousin, still has some of his Cockshutts, a couple of which he pulls in the central MI area. Dad's buddy used to collect lots of the rare Cockshutts, used to haul in a lot of them from Canada and all over, but he has pretty much gotten out of it and sold all of his real rare ones. Still enjoys looking at Cockshutt tractors though.

Hi Ross!! Thanks for the post! It's great to hear old stories from cockshutt people! I'm a member of the international cockshutt club. I'm only 25 years old, and love the hobby! I was hooked on cockshutt tractors from the age of 3 when my grandfather took me for a ride on my very tractor. It was sold outside the family in the late 90's. In January 2014 I set out to find it, and low and behold, I tracked it down after 2 years! It's now being restored! Almost done now! However I am looking for another project, preferably another 20 or a 20 deluxe. The 30's are gorgeous tractors, but here in Canada, they're just too common and not bringing a lot of money. The most I seen is $4000 CAD restored! So there's no money in Canada for the 30's. So being that there are just around 4000 20's built, they're really collectible being an Ontario built gem.
This is my grandfathers original 20 it's a 1952 #381 the day I brought her home April 2016 after a 9 hour drive to the Quebec boarder.
