Vicksburg question

I know many cockshutt tractors were sold as Wheatland models with fixed front axles and dust shields. I also understand many did not have 3 point hitch and the tractors were designed more for heavy tillage. So I was just looking through the photo adds here and there is a 1550 cockshutt with dust shields. Does not say about 3 point. So question is why the dust shields and Wheatland style on such a small tractor that probably would never be used for tillage work ? I just think it's strange.

Thousands of the wheatland/dust shields were sold in western Canada. Back in 60's and 70's the farms were smaller. A big farmer would be 5-6 quarters. Maybe running a 1850 or 1950. But a 2 to 3 quarter farmer would easily farm that with a 1550 or 1650. My dad farmed 5 quarters for years with a 1655. Yes he didn't wear hearing protection and was quite deaf. But loved what he did 😊
