Think somewhere here it was discussed about a 1550 having Power Adjust wheels or not, apparently they were an option as I have a piece of sales literature on the 1550 and it has a picture
of the Power Adjust wheels being offered as an option. Also in another piece of sales literature they have the 1600 with Power Adjust wheels.

Power adjust wheels became an option on the later Super series About 1957) and were options after that including the imports and the Oliver built tractors

It was me that was wondering i was looking at the build sheet and the information that came with it and unless i didn't see it there was nothing on there as an option. Its one of those quirky things that i like to find the reason why. You see them on different brands of tractors once in a while . They are nice on a picker tractor.

Farmerwithmutt:

On the copy of the build card that you have gotten for your 1550, the wheel and rim codes are:

H 88 is the code for Cast Iron (light) power adjust wheel for 38" rim.
H 98 is the code for Cast Iron (light) power adjust wheel for 34" rim.

I 87 is the code for rim and rails for power adjust 34" tire.
I 98 is the code for power adjust rim and rails for 38" tire.

Thanks. Mine has the initial hvy. C.I.P.A that explains why . Its a slow day and i got more curiosity thans good for me. Thats whats good about this site someone's always got the answer.
