I went to a consignment auction a few years back and wound up buying an Oliver 1365 for $800 dollars. It was not running and they said that It needed a starter.
After I got it home I tried to start it but it would just barely turn over with the starter even after I replaced the battery. It started rear quick when I pulled it and ran perfectly. While I was musing as to where I could get a starter for it my SIL who was visiting said casually that it looked like there was a number 24 stamped on the glow plugs. Another 12 volt battery and some cables and it was good to go.
