From the Oliver plant archives at the Floyd County Museum In Charles City, Iowa. This photo was taken by the plant photographer, Carl Rabe on Feb. 17, 1953. It is in the Experimental Dept. They are running tests on the 77 Industrial's Power Steering.

Always enjoy the pictures! The 1900 is a late 1900 (1964 model) as it has the dry air cleaners. Notice also the 1600 has a cap as used on the dry air cleaners, yet it looks like it is located where the oil bath air cleaners were located and not behind the muffler like on a 1650
 
Love all those old pics! Those sunny and warm looking ones are making me miss the green. It's been white here for tooooooo long.
 
Maybe I'm looking at it wrong but it doesn't
look like the 1900 is using a starter block
the weights are hooked direct. Thanks for

I love all the old pictures you post. When I see your post that says Floyd County Museum photos I can't wait to open it. I went down to Missouri and bought a plow just like the one behind the 1900 this winter. It was going to be scrapped out. Sure wish it was new like the one in the picture. THANKS again for the photos.
