Blower motor

OK, here goes; stupid question for probably all of you, but I haven't figured it out yet.
The blower motor on the a/c - heater unit in my 2-105 White (1976) only operates on high. I have been trying to gain access to it and I finally found it located in roof unit next to right corner glass. How in the world do you get to it to remove the motor? Surely the whole ac unit does not have to be dropped down, does it?

No. Two bolts in front, two bolts in the right side up under the edge of the roof. The roof is hinged and tips up to the left. Then you have to take out about 6 bolts from a plate that's over the blowers and radio. I had mine opened up a few weeks ago putting a new radio and speaker in it.

Ya. It's not any real big deal. I ran the loader up beside it and stood in the bucket. It was like working on something right on the bench. I used a short 2x4 to prop the roof up. You can stand on the step to get the front bolts out above the windshield. I used the 3/8ths drive impact to zip them right out.
