anyone know where i can buy the shock (damper) as bostrom calls it , for my 1855 , bostrom # 800-60311800002 , local truck dealer tried getting one ,even found the bostrom number for me but when order never showed up they found out there no longer being made , i've seen them for sale on some oliver parts sites but there not the same as original . maybe someone here knows a supplier who may have some on the shelf still , thanks

If you find one, hang on to your wallet. I wanted a shock for the seat on my 2-135. Agco wanted over $80. There was a number on it,Monroe I think it was. I took it to the auto parts store to see if they could match it up. Jeff ended up calling Monroe (If that was what it was). They said the number came up as being available through Sears auto shops. He called Sears, and they gave him the run around with that number and sent him right back to Agco as the only place it was available. In the end,he couldn't get it any cheaper than I could.

tryed AGCO they can get it anymore , mine does say bostrom & older part number on it. guess ill be putting the old one back on for good looks , because its junk . as for money at this point i have so much of it in this restore project i quit adding it up , still way less then buying a worn out Deere of the same HP & my Oliver is now new again

Bought mine from Ag Parts First for my 2150. Cost a ridiculous price of 102.96. That was in Jan. of 2015 so it's probably more than that now.

We bought 3 of them at our local international truck dealer last fall. they were from Bostrom but were a slightly smaller diameter, but worked fine. I think I have read maibachs have them but were more money than the ones I got, I think they were 50ish dollars, but kinda forget now.
